Gréta Run is a small trail-running event held at Koliba Gréta in Liptovská Sielnica, Liptovský Mikuláš district, northern Slovakia. The races take place in the foothills of the Chočské vrchy mountains, utilizing forest gravel roads instead of city streets. Adult participants can select a 15 km route, an approximately 8 km race, or a 3 km Hobby Open run. Shorter children’s races are also part of the program, conducted around the Koliba Gréta area.
The longer course begins at Koliba Gréta, proceeds into Kvačianska dolina, then moves toward Prosiecka dolina before concluding back at Koliba Gréta. The middle-distance race commences at the entrance to Kvačianska dolina, at roughly 660 meters above sea level, and follows the yellow trail marker towards Prosiecka dolina. The 3 km Hobby Open route is straightforward: it departs Koliba Gréta, follows the dam towards Liptovská Sielnica, and returns. Olympijský klub Liptova organizes the event, with KK-Sporttiming managing the timing. The entry package includes bean soup, refreshments at the course and finish, a medal, and a T-shirt for the first 150 registered runners.
