Malacká desiatka is a road race of approximately 10 km held in Malacky, a town in western Slovakia situated near the Záhorie region. The main event commences in the morning, and the program has also featured the shorter Malacký kilometer for children and younger participants.
The route measures about 9.9 to 10 km, primarily on asphalt roads. In contrast, related children’s races have utilized natural surfaces where spikes are permitted. Participants are divided into age categories: girls, boys, juniors, women, and men. Medals and material prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each category. This race is among the older recreational runs in the area, with origins dating back to the last century. Recent editions have been part of regional series, including the Grand prix Záhoria and the Moravian-Slovak Running Cup.
