地元のランナーは、まず海岸線を走るんだ。もっと負荷をかけたい時は内陸に行く感じだね。コースは5 kmで、イージーなラインはZ2とか、流し、あとは軽いシェイクアウトにちょうどいいよ。フルループだと44 milesで、獲得標高は47,398 feetになるね。Club d’Atletisme Safor Teika、Club Atletismo Gandia、Gandia Triatlóがこのあたりのランニングシーンを盛り上げてくれてるよ。年間の主要レースも盛りだくさんで、Volta a Peu Palma de Gandía、Volta a Peu de Ador、Gandia Half Marathon、10k Nocturna Platja de Gandia、Oliva Running 10Kとかがあるんだ。

春はランナーもサイクリストも一番気持ちよく走れる時期だね。3月から5月にかけてはだいたい20°Cから25°Cくらい。秋も同じくらい安心してトレーニングできるよ。9月から11月は18°Cから25°Cくらいで、夏の観光シーズンが終わると道も静かになるし。夏は早朝スタートが必須だね。Costa Blancaの暑さは35°Cに達することもあるし、観光客で賑わう時期は海岸の雰囲気も変わるから。冬もトレーニングはできるけど、ちょっと厳しくなるかな。10°Cから15°Cの日が多くて、ロングライドは計画をしっかり立てないとね。でも11月でも朝7:30頃から夕方6:00過ぎまで10時間以上は日照時間があるよ。
