The terrain is generally flat with minor undulations, and the routes offer views of landmarks above the city. Relish Running Races organizes the event, providing marshalled and marked courses. The night runs utilize glow sticks and reflective markers, and participants must supply their own head torch.

MoRun Bristol takes place at Ashton Court Park, near Bristol, offering races for children and adults. The event features a 1.5k Mini MoRun, a 5k, a 10k, and a half marathon, accommodating families, beginners, club runners, and those increasing their distance. All races use chip timing for immediate results upon finishing. The Bristol course is set within Ashton Court Park, providing a park-run atmosphere instead of a city-road race. The series supports Movember, raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Participants can donate during registration or create a fundraising page via Movember or JustGiving. All finishers receive a MoRun medal and headband, with refreshments available at the finish line. Additional prizes are awarded for categories including fastest MoBro, fastest MoSista, best dressed, and best moustache.

Santa Run Patchway is a festive 5K or 10K run in Patchway, Bristol. Runners start at Scott Park at 10:00 am and finish at Patchway Social Club. It is a fun run/run-walk, not a serious road race, with optional fancy dress and many Santa suits, elf outfits, and reindeer costumes at the start. The flat course uses roads and pavements around Patchway and the nearby area, with an aid station at the 5K point. Entrants receive a personalised chip-timed bib and a bespoke finisher medal, while under-12s get a present from Santa. The finish area includes Santa’s Grotto, a market, food, cafe refreshments, choirs around the tree, toilets, bag drop, and a small fair after the running.

The Cotswold Airport Running Festival takes place in February at Cotswold Airport, offering 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances. The unique feature is that runners compete on a closed airport runway, utilizing the smooth runway surface and airport roads for the course. The course is flat, ideal for consistent pacing and achieving personal bests. The shorter distances are also suitable for less experienced runners. The event area is located next to the Negus Boeing 747 aircraft, contributing to the distinct airport atmosphere. Entries include chip-timed results, complimentary race photos, and a themed medal.
