The TC Half Marathon for More is a Sunday-morning charity half marathon in Minneapolis, beginning at 500 South 6th Street during Twin Cities In Motion’s Marathon Weekend. The Mill Towns Race Series

Marathon Adventures 2026 London Marathon Adventure Deposit

地元のランナーは湖畔を走るよ、距離が稼ぎやすいからね。ちょっとだけ走りたい時は1 mileの周回もできるし、ループは6 milesだし、Cedar Lake Trailを使えば7-8 milesまで伸ばせるよ。Mill City Running、Calhoun Beach Running Club、Run Minnesota、November Project MPLS、Mpls Run Club、Camden Running Clubあたりが毎週イベントやってるから、飽きないよ。Stars and Strides Minneapolis、Victory Races、Twin Cities Pride Rainbow Run、Loppet Field Day、Trail Loppetは、絶対チェックしとくべきメインレースだね。

地図で見るより街中はフラットな感じだけど、自転車道はしっかりしてるよ。車がいない5 milesの道は、まるで自転車用のハイウェイみたい。bikeはグループライド、レース、bike polo、alley catsとか、自転車のお祭り騒ぎを盛り上げてるし、Midtown Cycling Club、Sociable Cider Werks、NOW Bikes & Fitnessなんかはライドを企画してくれてるよ。坂道は街の外、特にPrescott方面のHillsに集中してるかな。最初の30 milesで急坂が6つも来るから、結構きついよ。

春、夏、秋は最高だね。道も開いてるし、湖畔も賑わってるし、base milesも楽にこなせる感じ。夏は暑くて湿度が高い日が多いし、最高気温41°Cを記録したこともあるから、空気が重い日は地元の人は朝早く走ったり、夜遅くにライドしたり、インターバルも短めにするよ。冬はウェアは変わるけど、気持ちは全然変わらないね。市が自転車道をちゃんと除雪してくれるから、氷が出始めたらMinnehaha Parkway、湖畔、Greenway、Mississippi River Roadなんかをstud付きタイヤで走るんだ。ランナーは除雪された道に移動して、日照時間に合わせてスタート時間を調整しながら、雪が積もってもZ2の地道な練習を続けるよ。
