毎週、毎月、または毎年繰り返し開催されるレース
Devil Dog 5K & 10K Run/Walk
The Devil Dog 5K & 10K Run/Walk begins at South County Regional Park, west of Boca Raton in southern Palm Beach County. Participants can choose between 5K and 10K run/walk distances, with additional Kids K and virtual race options available. This variety accommodates competitive runners, casual walkers, families, and those wishing to contribute remotely. The race derives its name from "Devil Dog," a Marine Corps moniker, and is organized by Marine veteran Wade Waddick.
The event's primary goal is to benefit the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund, which offers emergency financial assistance to eligible disabled veterans in Florida and addresses gaps in dental care. For nine years, race proceeds have supported this fund. A recent edition raised $104,000, and organizers anticipate over 1,000 participants. Top finishers will receive plaques, merchandise, and shoes from Fleet Feet Delray Beach, while all participants get custom medals. The significant draw, however, is the community's support for local veterans, with friends, families, businesses, and service-oriented runners participating to aid injured veterans during difficult times.

13th Annual Every Boob Counts 5K Run/Walk
Every Boob Counts is an annual 5K run/walk at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton, offering both in-person and virtual participation. The in-person race begins at 7 a.m. EDT on a certified 5K course, providing a measured route for participants.
Participants run or walk in honor or memory of someone affected by breast cancer, with proceeds supporting Sharsheret and local community outreach programs. The event aims to raise breast cancer awareness, promote early detection, and connect community members with support and resources. Family festivities are part of race day, and the first 800 registrants are guaranteed a shirt and finisher medal, with shirt sizes distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Schott Communities 5K Run, Walk, and Roll
The Schott Communities 5K Run, Walk, and Roll is a community race in Southwest Ranches. Participants can choose between a timed 5K run or a 1-mile Walk & Roll. The event is designed for runners, walkers, families, schools, volunteers, and supporters, ensuring accessibility for all types of participants.
The event raises awareness and funds for Schott Communities programs and services for persons with disabilities. Approximately 900 people participated last time. The day includes awards and prizes for participants, with sponsors supporting the cause behind the race.
Haunted 5K & 10K at Hollywood, FL
The Haunted 5K & 10K in Hollywood, Florida, begins at 9:00 AM in a park near Cricket Field 2, adjacent to the parking lot opposite the baseball fields. This event, part of the US Road Running series, offers 5K, 10K, and half marathon distances (3.1, 6.2, or 13.1 miles). Packet pickup is available 30 minutes before the start and concludes 10 minutes prior; all participants must register in advance on RunSignup, as no race-day registration is permitted.
The 5K and 10K courses follow a short out-and-back route. The 5K is completed twice, and the 10K is completed four times. The park opens at 8:00 AM, parking is $3 per vehicle, and the race has a 2-hour time limit. A best costume award highlights the Halloween theme. Standard series amenities include finisher medals, awards, a merchandise shop, and points towards the US Road Running standings.
8th Annual - Hollywood Beach Half Marathon & 5k | ELITE EVENTS
The Hollywood Beach Half Marathon & 5k is an October running event in Hollywood, Florida, offering a 21.1 km half marathon and a 5 km race. Both distances begin in Hollywood.
ELITE EVENTS organizes the race. This marks the eighth annual running, indicating a relatively young series focused on a straightforward two-distance format instead of an extensive race-weekend schedule.
Hollywood Beach Half Marathon & 5k
The Hollywood Beach Half Marathon & 5K begins at Hollywood North Beach Park in Hollywood, Florida. Runners depart at sunrise near the Atlantic Ocean. The event features two road races: a half marathon covering approximately 13.11 miles and a 5K covering approximately 3.11 miles. This race takes place twice a year, in the winter and fall, typically in January and October or November, providing South Florida runners multiple opportunities to compete on the beach course.
The route follows the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk, remaining close to the sand. Participants will experience ocean views, the sound of waves, and a sunrise over the water during the run. The event is included in the Elite Events South Florida Half Marathon Tour and attracts participants from across the United States, many of whom extend their visit into a weekend stay at local hotels. Its appeal lies in its straightforward format: a flat, beachside road race starting in a public park, utilizing the Broadwalk, and offering both 5K and half marathon distances on the same morning.
Hair Peace and Hope 5K Run/Walk
The Hair Peace and Hope 5K Run/Walk is a 5K event held at Miramar Regional Park in Miramar, Florida. It welcomes both runners and walkers, with the race focused on a local charity mission rather than solely on finish times.
Net proceeds will assist individuals impacted by autoimmune diseases, such as mixed connective tissue disease, lupus, and alopecia. Hair Peace, a 501(c)3 organization, organizes this event to support community members and their families managing these conditions.
Spooktacular 5K / 10K
Spooktacular is a Halloween-season 5K run/walk focused on costumes, family entries, and short paved courses. One iteration is a night glow run at Campus Park in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Participants run 3.1 miles on paved trails following a public Trick or Trunk event, and are advised to wear bright colors and lights. A separate, established version begins at the Whittier Community Center in California. It includes a 5K run/walk, a half-mile Creepy Crawly dash for children 12 and under, and a costume contest post-race.
The Mount Pleasant race emphasizes the glow-run theme, encouraging family-friendly costumes. Parking is available within Campus Park, with race-day packet pickup only. Awards are given to the top three men and women, and to age groups in five-year increments. The Whittier event features chip timing, a USATF-certified course, custom finisher medals for all participants, cash prizes for the top overall male and female 5K finishers, DJs along the route, goodie bags, refreshments, and a pancake breakfast for registered runners. Its costume contest requires family-appropriate attire and race participation. Proceeds from the Whittier Community Foundation event support the local community.
