18th Annual Rocco Laurie Memorial Staten Island Triathlon/Duathlon 2026

This event honors Rocco Laurie, a Vietnam veteran and NYPD officer. It features an expertly designed closed course, including a completely closed bike course on Father Capodanno Blvd. The Midland Beach swim is calmer than other open water swims, ensuring a safe experience for all triathletes. With a flat course and no significant elevation gain, it's a great race to condition yourself for an event like a Half Ironman. Larry Ambrosino, a friend from Rocco's Mariners Harbor roots, started this race to remember him.
