1st Annual To Infinity & Beyond Halloween 5k

The To Infinity & Beyond Halloween 5K is a Halloween morning race held at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, New York. The race starts at Parking Field #1 on Rockland Lake Road and is organized by the Rockland Road Runners. The event features a 5K race for adults and children, along with a free Kids Fun Run that takes place before the main 5K. The morning is designed for families, offering face painting, a pumpkin patch, and apple cider, among other Halloween activities that begin before the races. The pre-race program includes a Monster Mash warm-up and a march-in by the East Ramapo Marching Band to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” Proceeds from the event benefit the Jordyn Seiden Memorial Fund, which assists children facing mental illness and intellectual developmental issues. Children aged 0 to 9 can participate in the 5K without charge, and those aged 10 to 18 receive a reduced entry fee.
