2025 Carson Valley Turkey Trot Fun Run

The Carson Valley Turkey Trot Fun Run begins at Minden Park in downtown Minden, Nevada, on Thanksgiving morning. The primary event is a 5K run/walk scheduled from 8:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Kid's Turkey Dash for ages 1 to 12 takes place just before it at 8:30 a.m. A virtual 5K option is available for those preferring to run or walk on their own schedule. The in-person course winds through a downtown Minden neighborhood in Carson Valley, marking it as a local holiday run distinct from large city events. This is the ninth edition of the event, which benefits the Carson Valley Community Food Closet. The 5K and virtual 5K have a $30 entry fee, while the kids' dash is $20. Participants can receive T-shirts and swag bags as long as supplies are available. If the race does not reach capacity, same-day registration might be offered.
