2026 GCR Thanksgiving 5K | 1 Mile | Kids 1K & 100 Yard Dash

The GCR Thanksgiving Race begins Thanksgiving morning in downtown Naples, Florida, offering a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, and free kids races over 1K and 100 yards. The main race starts on 5th Avenue from the event area near 755 8th Ave S, with walkers integrated into the main field. The 1-mile option has a turnaround for those not wanting the full 5K. Walkers, strollers, and dogs should start near the back. Kids races are free for ages 1-18 (1K) and ages 1-9 (100 Yard Dash); parents must register them for the waiver, and kids do not receive shirts. The race benefits St. Matthew's House and its Youth Development/Scholarship Fund. Canned goods can be brought to packet pickup or the race area.
