9/11 Run to Remember 5K

The 9/11 Run to Remember 5K is a 5-kilometer race held in Crystal City, Arlington, beginning at 6:00 p.m. near the DoubleTree Hotel. This event commemorates the first responders who died on September 11, 2001, gathering runners, walkers, public safety personnel, military participants, families, and local residents at the starting line each September. The race is organized by the Arlington Police, Fire, Sheriff, and ECC. Its memorial focus is directed towards the communities it supports: law enforcement, firefighters, military members, and public safety communications staff are recognized with distinct award categories for individuals and teams. For over twenty years, the race has generated more than $1 million for 9/11-related charities. A virtual participation option is available for those wishing to contribute to the cause from outside Arlington.
