America 250 Blue Devil Dash 5K

The America 250 Blue Devil Dash 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. at Gate City High School in Gate City, Virginia. The start and finish lines are located on the track at Legion Field. This race commemorates America’s 250th birthday and is structured as a community road race. Runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes are welcome. Strollers will begin at the back, and leashed, socialized dogs are permitted. The course follows a designated route from Legion Field. Participants may be disqualified for taking shortcuts or deviating from the course. We Run Events, a sports event management company based in Bristol serving Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia, will manage the timing using bib-mounted B-tags and post-race results kiosks. Hank Brown and Natalie Whitlock, who are managing the timing, have extensive running experience, including marathon finishes and regional race management.
