27th Annual Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Races - 7/25/26 - 31st Street Park 2026

The Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Races take place at 31st Street Park in Virginia Beach, offering participants a run-swim-run, a 5K run/walk, and a 1-mile kids run/walk. Originally the Braveheart Run Swim Run, benefiting the American Heart Association, the event evolved into a family-oriented race day catering to adults, walkers, and children. Allen Stone, a local Navy SEAL and acquaintance of the race committee, competed in the first event, winning his age category. Following his death during SEAL training, the race was renamed in his honor. The series now benefits the Navy SEAL Foundation and Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue, having raised over $1 million for charitable causes.
