16th Annual Rowan Rotary Spooky Sprint 5K Run/Walk 2026

The Rowan Rotary Spooky Sprint is a Halloween-season 5K run/walk held at Catawba College’s Shuford Stadium in Salisbury, North Carolina. The 5K begins in the afternoon, with a half-mile Fun Run for younger participants or those seeking a shorter distance. The Fun Run consists of two laps around the track. The 5K route winds through the Catawba College campus, covering the soccer and softball complex, then proceeds along the greenway toward the Crescent area before looping back. Rowan Rotary hosts the event, with race proceeds benefiting local youth programs. These include Service Above Self Awards for young people who demonstrate community service and leadership development programs for local high school students.
