Blue Bell Fun Run 2027

The Blue Bell Fun Run takes place in Brenham, Texas, on a March race day. The event begins on A H Ehrig Drive and attracts a substantial local turnout, with recent results showing over 3,800 total participants across the four distances. The routes traverse the rolling terrain surrounding Brenham, featuring spring bluebonnets and wildflowers. A unique finish-line tradition, tied to the event's name, provides runners with unlimited Blue Bell ice cream, a participant shirt, and a medal. Half marathoners also receive special 13.1 gear. The race originated in 1978 as a fundraiser for the Brenham High School athletic program and now benefits youth in Washington County via Run for the Youth of Washington County.
