Bolingbrook Howl-O-Ween 5K

The Bolingbrook Howl-O-Ween 5K is a Halloween-themed 5K held at Remington Lakes Sports Complex in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The race begins at 8:00 AM during the Halloween season. It is open to participants aged 6 and older, who may choose to run or walk the 5K distance. The event is referred to as a “6-legged 5K” as participants are permitted to bring a dog. While dogs and costumes are encouraged, they are not mandatory. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 8 feet, and dogs with a history of aggression are prohibited. Registration provides a sweatshirt, medal, and race bib. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 14 and under to 66 and up. This marks the fourth annual running of the race.
