The Bozeman Half Marathon & 10K begins in the southern foothills of Bozeman, Montana, and concludes on historic Main Street in the Gallatin Valley. These are fast, downhill road races, with mountain ranges surrounding the valley and early-fall colors appearing under Montana's Big Sky.
The course offers a point-to-town route: starting at higher elevation, descending toward Bozeman, and finishing downtown rather than at a remote site. The event supports the Bozeman Distance Project, a local 501(c)(3), with race proceeds aiding youth cross-country teams and clubs in travel to competitive meets, uniform purchases, and other running programs. Race weekend also features a Friday Night Shakeout Run at MAP Brewing, part of the 5K Brew Run Series, and the Bozeman Running Company is the local run shop organizing the event.
