Brown County Fair Foundation 5K Fun Run/Walk/Bike

The Brown County Fair Foundation 5K Fun Run/Walk/Bike is a relaxed 5K on the Brown County Fairgrounds in Aberdeen, South Dakota, held on the Saturday before the Fair. It starts and finishes at the Brown County Fair Office, with the Brown County Fair Clubhouse serving as the event base. Participants can run, walk, or bike the course; the setup is deliberately low-pressure: no timing, no official results, no bibs, and no competitive press. The event is built around getting neighbors moving before Fair week begins, especially while campers are already settling in for the weekend. Walkers, cyclists, runners, families, first-timers, and people of different abilities all fit into the same morning. The Brown County Fair Foundation hosts it, and all proceeds go directly back to the Brown County Fair.
