Cape Canaveral Reindeer Run 5K

The Cape Canaveral Reindeer Run 5K begins at 8:00 a.m. from Cherie Down Park in Cape Canaveral, Florida. Runners and walkers will complete a 5K course during the December holiday season. This local community race has a history spanning over 30 editions. It maintains an informal atmosphere by encouraging holiday costumes and "holiday cheer-leaders" alongside regular participants. The race benefits the North Beaches Police Athletic League Youth Directors Council Program, with entries funding a local youth initiative. It is also a cupless event, requiring participants to bring their own bottle, collapsible cup, hydration vest, or other drinking container for water stations. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, top male and female masters, and the top co-ed team of four. Early registrants will receive a shirt and a finisher medal. Door prize drawings will occur after the run, and packet pickup is available before race day and on race morning.
