Cape Fear 24 Hour Endurance Run

The Cape Fear 24 Hour Endurance Run is a fixed-time race held in Lillington, North Carolina. Runners complete laps on a USATF-certified 0.5918-mile asphalt loop for a duration of up to 24 hours. The course is situated around the town's Parks and Recreation baseball fields, offering a compact layout that is convenient for crews and suitable for participants aiming to complete a few laps or an all-day effort. The loop is predominantly flat, featuring a single minor incline. Support is readily accessible as runners repeatedly pass the same central area. Participants have nearby parking options and can establish a tent close to their vehicles, with restrooms located just steps from the course. Once night falls, the town illuminates the park, negating the need for a headlamp. This event was formerly known as the Dia De Los Muertos 24 Hour.
