Chase the Dreidel 5K

Chase the Dreidel 5K is an afternoon 5K in St. Petersburg, Florida, featuring a life-sized dreidel on the race route. The in-person race begins at Congregation B'nai Israel of St. Petersburg. A virtual 5K option is available for those who prefer to run elsewhere and still receive the shirt and medal by mail. The 4 p.m. start time accommodates families, and the event welcomes runners, walkers, and strollers. The course follows St. Pete streets, including 58th Street South, and the Pinellas Trail, with chip timing and police monitoring. Bicycles and pets are not permitted on the course, ensuring a more manageable environment for families and walkers. Participants receive a T-shirt, swag bag, and custom medal. A fun run is offered for children aged ten and under. Registration includes an all-you-can-eat potato pancake latke supper; food-only wristbands can be purchased at the race for those primarily interested in the buffet.
