Chickamauga Chicken and Waffles 5k Dash

The Chickamauga Chicken and Waffles 5k Dash is a midday 5K in Chickamauga, Georgia, starting at 217 Cove Road and running as part of the Chickamauga Chicken & Waffles Festival. A 1-mile Syrup Stroll is also available for those seeking the festival atmosphere without the full 5K distance. The race embraces its breakfast theme: participants are encouraged to wear costumes representing chickens, waffles, syrup bottles, chefs, or other food-related concepts. Prizes will be awarded for Best Chicken, Best Waffle, Funniest Costume, and Best Group Costume. Race awards recognize the overall male and female winners and age groups from children to 60+. All finishers receive a medal and a race shirt. Following the run, the festival will feature food vendors and a makers market.
