レースについて
Climb for The Cure is a chip-timed gravel and mountain-bike race in the Spokane area. Riders ascend Mt. Spokane and return to Big Barn Brewery for the start and finish. The event takes place in June and offers two main route options: a 50-mile A route with 6,242 feet of climbing, and a 22-mile B route with 2,652 feet of climbing.
The longer route is designed for intermediate to expert cyclists, while the shorter route is suitable for moderate to intermediate riders. Gravel bikes, mountain bikes, and pedal-assist bikes are permitted. E-bikes will compete in an open class. Participants can register as individuals or teams, with the Corporate Cup recognizing the four fastest combined team times. All participant fees benefit cancer research and awareness initiatives at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute via The Wendy Fund. Racers are also competing for a $10,000 prize purse distributed among routes, age categories, and top finishers.
