Coffee Run

Coffee Run is a morning run and walk at Woodward Park in Fresno, California, with coffee built into the day from the name to the finish-line mug. The event is in its fifth annual edition and offers a timed 10K, a timed 5K run/walk, a non-timed 2-mile run/walk, and a virtual option. All in-person races start at 9:00 AM PST, and the shorter non-timed distance gives families and casual walkers a way to join without racing the clock. The 10K counts as a Classic Series Point Race, so it draws runners chasing series points as well as people there for a relaxed community morning. Participants get a long sleeve event shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a commemorative coffee mug. After the run, there is hot or cold coffee, hot chocolate for kids, coffee-related snacks, music, age group awards, and free downloadable photos. The race partners with Valley PBS, with support going toward local educational programming in the Central Valley.
