Community Connection 5k

The Community Connection 5k is a 5K run and walk held at Lions Club Park in Killeen, Texas. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. and has a $30 entry fee. It is designed as a community race welcoming families, not exclusively for competitive runners, so both experienced runners and casual walkers participate. The race benefits two local organizations: the Boys & Girls Club of Central Texas and the HWDS Foundation. Funds for the Boys & Girls Club support youth programs and opportunities. The HWDS Foundation concentrates on mental and physical health via fitness, resilience, strength, and empowerment. Packets can be picked up early at Honest Juicery in Harker Heights.
