Faith and Freedom 5K

The Faith and Freedom 5K takes place in November in Gilmer, Texas, offering both 5K and 10K races. Steel Mill Farms and The Body Health & Wellness organize it, with the event focusing on community, faith, family involvement, and support for local and national causes. Participants can also engage in the Warriors Challenge, a strength competition featuring Farmers Carry, Deadlift, Sandbag Wall Toss, Pushups, and Weighted Lunges. Funds raised benefit the Gilmer Chamber of Commerce, the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, and the Open Door Resource Center in Gilmer.
