Firewater Ultra

Firewater Ultra is a trail race series on the East Lakeshore Trail along the east side of Tellico Reservoir in Tennessee. Runners can choose the 100K, the 50K, or a 50K relay, accommodating solo ultrarunners and teams sharing the distance. The route uses the East Lakeshore Trail system from end to end, a distinction no other event shares. The Watershed Association of the Tellico Reservoir maintains the trails, and the course is described as well-kept and very runnable rather than rough or highly technical.
