Gold Mine River Run 5K

The Gold Mine River Run 5K is an off-road race held in the Vein Mountain area of Marion, North Carolina, south of Glenwood. The race is centered on Lucky Strike Drive and follows a cross-country style route on unpaved ground, offering a more natural surface than a typical road 5K. The course avoids paved roads and focuses on a single 5K distance. Registration is open to the public for a fee. All finishers receive medals, and race shirts are available to the first 30 registrants.
