Halloween 5K and Monster Mile 2026

The Halloween 5K and Monster Mile is a Halloween-themed 5K run/walk hosted at the Bismarck Elks Lodge. The race begins with an opening ceremony, followed by the 5K at 10:30 a.m. It accommodates families and runners alike: adults may run or walk the 5K, children can participate in a free .1-mile Spooky Sprint, and post-race events feature trick-or-treating, face painting, and community booths. The 5K follows a mapped route, and non-race activities are located on the west side of the Elks Lodge, across from the main entrance. Costumes are encouraged, with awards for the most creative, best group, best overall, best dog, and best kids' costumes. Dogs and strollers are permitted. The 5K also includes awards for the top three male and female finishers.
