The Heady Trotter 4M, held at The Alchemist in Stowe, Vermont, is a chip-timed 4-mile race taking place in October. The certified course begins and ends at the brewery, leading runners through the rolling foothills surrounding Stowe before returning to the finish line and the crowd.
The finish area is centered on beer, food, and games, complementing the run. Registration includes live music, food trucks, Heady Topper beer, custom merchandise, a koozie, and lawn games such as Cornhole, giant Beer Pong, and Kan Jam. Teams of 10 or more receive additional Heady Trotter merchandise. The race benefits Green Mountain Adaptive Sports. The brewery originated as a small brew pub in Waterbury and now operates two Vermont locations, specializing in fresh, unfiltered IPA.
