Hero 5k Walk / Run

This race honors "real heroes, ordinary people, extraordinary courage." It grew in memory of Major Ronald Wayne Culver, who sacrificed his life. The race also honors Leslie Darden, a "hero & inspiration to so many" known for her "steadfast encouragement, uplifting cheers, and empowering guidance!" It's a chance to recognize the "courageous spirit of all of our hometown heroes," including military, first responders, and healthcare professionals. The aim is to raise awareness of their daily sacrifices and unite in their honor.
