Holiday Classic Triathlon

The Holiday Classic Youth Triathlon is a multisport event for children held at the Anthem Community Center in Anthem, Arizona. It is designed for athletes 14 and under, featuring a 200-meter heated pool swim, a 4.5-mile bike ride, and a half-mile run. The main Holiday Classic event also offers adult triathlon, relay, aquabike, and duathlon races. Youth participants will race on the same day as adults completing a 400-meter pool swim, a 20K bike course consisting of three loops, and a 5K run. The pool swim is managed with athletes entering the water one at a time, feet first, and no diving is permitted. The youth run is a straightforward half-mile out-and-back course. The adult bike course utilizes a dedicated lane separate from vehicle traffic. This event has been held for over twenty years. Race-day amenities include an optional long-sleeve hoodie, post-race refreshments, finisher medals for all participants, and awards for the top three finishers in each category.
