Jamestown Triathlon

The Jamestown Triathlon at Jamestown beach. The bike course parallels the Cap-Cap bike trail along Rt. 5. The run course winds through historic farmland and forest on bike paths and jogging trails. This event is the USA Triathlon Virginia State Championship, offering qualification for the Toyota Age Group National Championships. Top 35% or five finishers in an age group qualify, with specific criteria for Olympic and Sprint distances. High school athletes finishing any State High School Championship also automatically qualify for Sprint-distance Nationals (age 15+).
