Jan Dils Freedom Fun Run 5K

The Jan Dils Freedom Fun Run 5K is an annual 5K held on Market Street in downtown Parkersburg, West Virginia. The race hub is located at 963 Market Street. Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law, hosts this community fundraiser, which offers both in-person and virtual participation options. The race began as a local initiative to raise funds for veterans. All proceeds benefit local veteran organizations such as We Have Your Six - Parkersburg Division, Operation Transportation, and Jan Dils Foundation scholarships for veterans. Operation Transportation, for instance, has provided over 61,000 bus passes to veterans in five years, with more than 25,000 distributed in the last 12 months. The event has seen record attendance, reflecting Parkersburg and West Virginia's pride in veterans' service.
