The 33rd annual Jim Bridger Trail Run is a classic race in a classic place. It offers a challenging 2,838 feet of elevation gain through the foothills of the Bridger mountains. Expect great climbs on a loop starting near Sypes Canyon trailhead, crossing private property only accessible on race day. You'll head up Middle Cottonwood with a water crossing, then continue across the Bridgers and back down Sypes Canyon. A fun run, a dirt road lollipop through the neighborhood, offers a different pace. Both finish at a post-race BBQ with food, drinks (beer included), and raffle prizes.
