Lighthouse 5k Series July 22, 2026

The 16th annual Lighthouse 5k Series invites you to "lace up your running shoes and see the sights" through the Historic Village of Corolla Light. Centered around The Whalehead Club in Historic Corolla Park, this family event offers a way to "add the fun of a run and fitness to your vacation" while exploring the charming northern beaches. The course winds past landmarks like the Historic Mansion at The Whalehead Club and the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, letting you "enjoy the sights of the Northern Outer Banks." This race is designed for walkers and strollers, and welcomes service dogs, making it suitable for families. All participants receive finisher medals and t-shirts, and each event helps local charities.
