Lights on for Families 5k and Fun Run 2026

The Lights on for Families 5k and Fun Run is a night race held at Sugar House Park, where neon gear is used instead of the typical daytime run setup. Participants can complete the full 5K route by running the park's inner loop twice. Walkers, families with strollers, and those preferring a shorter distance can opt for a single loop of approximately 1.5 miles. The course features Glow Stations with blacklights and music. Every participant receives a starter pack of glow-in-the-dark accessories. Following the race, a music after-party will take place. Proceeds from registration and donations benefit the Family Support Center, supporting local crisis nurseries, parenting education classes, and the LifeStart village for Utah families.
