Maintain the Lane 5k and 1 Mile Walk 2026

Maintain the Lane is a Scranton, Pennsylvania event featuring a 5K run and a 1 Mile Fun Walk. Both events commence at 9:00 AM from the Olive Street trailhead of the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail. The event is presented by the Friends of Shady Lane Cemetery. Packet pickup and same-day registration are available beforehand at the Scranton Half Marathon Pavilion. The 5K is a race for runners, while a shorter fun-walk is available for walkers. All proceeds benefit Friends of Shady Lane. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers overall, and the first two male and female finishers in age groups ranging from 13-and-under to 70-plus. A basket raffle is also part of the event.
