Mistletoe Run 2026

The Mistletoe Run begins and ends at the William G. White Jr. Family YMCA in downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina. This winter community race offers three distances: a half marathon, a 5K, and a 1-mile Fun Run. The course is USATF sanctioned. The morning schedule begins with the Fun Run, followed by the half marathon, and then the 5K. It is designed to be family friendly, providing race shirts for all participants, finisher medals for the 5K and half marathon, and finisher ribbons for the Fun Run. The 5K route winds through Winston-Salem’s Buena Vista neighborhood. The half marathon continues through Graylyn International Conference Center, Reynolda House and Gardens, Reynolda Village, and the Wake Forest University campus. This race serves as the YMCA’s largest annual fundraiser, with all proceeds benefiting youth programs like swim lessons, summer camp, and youth sports. The finish area maintains the holiday-race atmosphere with live music, food trucks, vendors, community mascots, and donuts at the finish line.
