Morton Pumpkin Classic race and walk

The Morton Pumpkin Classic is a 10K and 2-mile fun run/walk held in Morton, Illinois, as part of the Morton Pumpkin Festival. Libby's Pumpkin sponsors the race, which aligns with the town's pumpkin theme, complete with post-race pumpkin donuts. The 2-mile event, untimed, begins before the 10K to help manage course congestion and the finish line area. The flat course winds through Morton and towards the town's outskirts, concluding on Jefferson Street within the festival grounds. The 2-mile fun run/walk accommodates various participants, including those with strollers and wheelchairs; however, rollerblades and dogs are not permitted in either event. Following the race, participants can enjoy refreshments, snacks, music, family activities, and an awards ceremony scheduled for mid-morning.
