Northfield 5K & One Mile Kids' Race 2026

The 47th Annual Northfield 5K & One Mile Kids' Race starts Labor Day weekend. The 5k begins at Northfield Savings Bank, with a water station at midpoint, and is endorsed by the New England 65-Plus Runners Club. Kids aged 6-11 will enjoy their mile race, starting near the Post Office and looping back to Depot Square. The day includes an Opening Ceremony with the National Anthem. Runners aged 10 and up are welcome in the 5k, with special discounts for seniors and younger participants. No strollers, headphones, or dogs are allowed. Your participation supports Central Vermont Runners, the Vermont Senior Games Association, and CVR's Youth Running Program mini-grants. Online registration is encouraged!
