OUTLAST PADRE ISLAND 2027

OUTLAST Padre Island is a six-hour trail endurance race in Corpus Christi, Texas, held at 20420 Park Road 22 on Padre Island. It begins at 8:00 a.m. CST and concludes at 2:00 p.m. CST. Runners start a 5K at the top of every hour. The rule is straightforward: finish each 5K within the hour, or your race ends. Finishing early provides a break before the next start. The course features natural trail terrain, presenting uneven ground, elevation changes, and variable conditions. The challenge lies in repeating a controlled effort six times, managing eating, resting, and resetting within brief intervals. Completing four laps earns a Bronze “Grit Earned” leather patch, five laps a Silver “Survivor” leather patch, and all six laps the OUTLAST wooden medal. The fastest combined 5K times by a male and female runner receive the first-place OUTLAST award. The OUTLAST Circuit Tour extends this hourly-survival format to events across multiple states.
