Pilot Mountain to Hanging Rock Ultra

The Pilot Mountain to Hanging Rock Ultra, an endurance challenge connecting Pilot Mountain State Park to Hanging Rock State Park, traverses the Sauratown Mountains. Runners will navigate climbs, technical trails, and scenery with over 7,500 feet of elevation gain in the longest ultra option and 4,000 feet in the shorter ultra. The course includes singletrack, fire roads, and mountain terrain. This race is for trail runners and ultra-distance athletes, offering a mountain adventure for solo runners or relay teams.
