Plateau Pacers 5th Anniversary Community 5k Walk/ Run 2026

The Plateau Pacers 5th Anniversary Community 5k Walk/Run begins and ends at Kidd Park Pool on East Street in Mobile, Alabama. Africatown Plateau Pacers organizes this July community fitness event, which features a 5k walk/run and shorter walking options of one mile, two miles, and three miles. The route crosses historic Plateau Africatown. Participants can download information to learn about the community’s history while on the course. Walk groups are welcome; teams must have at least five people. The event continues after the walk with music, food, and family activities.
