Putnam County Classic

Race the Lake around Lake Mahopac, the "Heart of our Town and County"! This race starts flat and fast through the town center, then challenges you with hills along the shores before a final straight shot. The Putnam County Classic offers locally made finisher medals and hot egg sandwiches for everyone. Runners over 21 get free beer from Captain Lawrence Brewery. Stick around for special prizes like Most Patriotic and Sweatiest, and to watch the 4th of July boat parade. Proceeds support the Mahopac Fire Department.
