The Reindeer Romp is a yearly 5k fun run/walk sponsored by Nolan Painting, with its fundraising tied to the American Cancer Society. The race started in the late 1990s and has raised more than $450,000 over more than two decades, including a recent total of $36,000 from one edition.
Beth Devine from the American Cancer Society started the event, and it later became dedicated to Brandon Lake, who died as a child. His family still donates each year in his memory, and Brandon's Cup Trophy goes to the fastest child participant, giving the race a children-and-family thread beyond the usual charity-run format.
