Riverfront East Hartford 5 Mile

The Riverfront East Hartford 5 Mile is a Thursday evening run based at Goodwin University, with five miles along the river in East Hartford. It is the August finale of the Riverfront Summer Series, which also includes a June 5K and a July 4-mile race in Hartford. The event is pitched as happy-hour running: finishers can hang out on the lawn by the river, get custom technical socks, eat a mini mac attack from Bear's Smokehouse BBQ, and have a New England Brewing Company craft beer if they are 21 or older with ID. Runners who complete all three Riverfront races receive a lightweight custom long-sleeve tee, and the event supports HMF's Susie Beris, MD Youth Running Program.
