Rock the Ride Napa is a community ride and walk in Napa Valley, starting at the Yountville Community Center and ending at Yountville North Park. It offers several straightforward options: a 25-mile ride, a 15-mile ride, a 5.5-mile family ride, and a 3-mile walk. The family ride is a relaxed loop within Yountville, and the walk follows the town’s quiet roads and permits dogs. Bike rentals are available, and a virtual pass allows support without in-person participation.
The event gathers cyclists, walkers, families, youth, and supporters to commemorate local gun violence tragedies and fundraise for public safety and gun violence prevention education. Funds benefit organizations such as Moms Demand Action / Everytown for Gun Safety, Giffords Law Center, Alaina’s Voice Foundation, and Brady United. Following the activities, the event moves to Burritos & Bubbles in the Park for speakers, remarks, and a Prevention Organization Fair. Children and youth 17 and under can participate in the walk without charge, contributing to a community gathering atmosphere rather than a competitive race feel.
