Rocket City Microthon

The Rocket City Microthon is a 0.12k race across 383 feet of Butler Green at Campus 805 in downtown Huntsville, Alabama. It is a family-friendly fundraiser that playfully mimics the traditions of a standard road race: participants receive a numbered bib, but the entire course is shorter than many parking lots. The route runs between Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer Brewery. Organizers permit either direction, reflecting the event's intentionally relaxed nature. Entry options include a Runners Package, a Slacker's Package, and a Kid's Package. The Slacker option is priced higher than the runner option, contributing to the event's humor.
