Schützenfest Bier Dash 2026

The Schützenfest Bier Dash is a 1K, untimed fun run at the Kolping Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, held during Schützenfest. It is for runners and walkers age 21 and older, with photo ID required. The atmosphere is more like a festival lap than a race: no timing, no competition, and two beer stations along the course. The route goes through Kolping’s Biergarten and the wooded grounds surrounding it, with staging behind the outdoor Pavilion Stage after the festival opening ceremonies. Entry includes Friday night admission to Schützenfest, the on-course beer stops, a Bier-themed souvenir package, a giant Servatii soft pretzel, and a German schnapps toast at the finish. Registration is online only, the event runs rain or shine, and proceeds go to charitable causes.
